Zucchini and Prawn Cream Recipe with Thermomix

Ingredients to make Zucchini and prawn cream with Thermomix:

  • For the cream:
  • 200 grams of small prawns
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 2 leeks (without leaves)
  • ¼ onion
  • 1 Zucchini
  • ½ cup of cream or milk cream
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • For the broth:
  • The heads and skins of the prawns
  • ½ cup of Cognac
  • 2 cups of water

How to make Zucchini and prawn cream with Thermomix:

  1. To start preparing the zucchini cream with Thermomix, remove the shells from the prawns and separate the heads. Remember that you must reserve both the skins and the heads to make the broth.
  2. To make the fish broth or stock, place all the ingredients of the broth except the water, that is, the shells and heads of the prawns and the cognac, in the Thermomiz glass. Then, program the machine for 5 minutes at speed 5 and 100 ºC. When there is one minute left, add the water through the mouthpiece.
  3. Strain the broth obtained and reserve it. Then, rinse the bowl of the machine and add the oil, the butter, the leeks and the onion; program for 7 minutes at speed 5 and 100 ºC to prepare the vegetable cream with Thermomix.
  4. After the stipulated time, add the chopped zucchini, salt to taste and the cups of water. Program the machine for 10 minutes at speed 5 and 100 ºC.
  5. After the previous 10 minutes, add the fish broth and the cream or milk cream, program for 5 minutes at speed 1 and 100 ºC. Lastly, add the peeled prawns through the mouthpiece and mark 3 minutes at speed 1 and 100 ºC.
  6. Clever! You can now serve the zucchini and prawn cream with Thermomix to surprise your guests with a dish full of flavor and texture, and without any effort!
