Wild Rice with Chicken and Mushrooms Recipe

  4. 200 grams of mushrooms or sliced ​​mushrooms
  5. 1 teaspoon of olive oil

  • Our first step to make the recipe for rice with chicken and mushrooms is to prepare the ingredients.
  • Remember that you must previously cook the wild rice. To do this, keep in mind that for one cup of wild rice you must use three of water. Remember that its cooking is slow and takes approximately 35-40 minutes. Ideally, our wild rice should keep its original shape, so we know that it won’t be overcooked.
  • Bring a frying pan over medium heat with the olive oil, add the finely chopped white onion, salt, black pepper and the garlic paste.
  • Once you see that our onion turns transparent, add the chopped mushrooms, or the mushrooms that you like the most, and let them fry for a few minutes.
  • Add the wild rice to the pan where we have our ingredients and mix very well so that they are integrated.
  • Add the shredded chicken, mix well until all the ingredients of the wild rice with meat and mushrooms are integrated.
  • Finally, mix the wild rice with the white rice for a more complete dish. Do it evenly so that all the ingredients are well integrated.
