White Beans with Chicken Recipe

White bean stew with chicken is a very balanced and healthy meal, a recipe that provides the necessary calories for the cooler days. Doing it is much easier than it seems, you just need to follow the simple steps that we detail below.

Ingredients to make White Beans with Chicken:

  • 400 grams of white beans
  • ½ unit of Chicken
  • 4 units of Carrots
  • 1 unit of large onion
  • 1 unit of medium red pepper
  • 2 units of leeks
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • ½ cup of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to make White Beans with Chicken:

1.For the first thing you have to do is soak the beans the night before. The next day, they are cooked in a pot with cold water. Eye! You have to change the water at least 3 times so that we do not have stomach gases. When we definitely put it to boil, add a splash of olive oil to the water.

2.Separately, in a casserole, fry the previously cleaned and chopped chicken meat; sprinkle a little salt on top so that it sticks to the casserole. Sauté the chicken meat over low heat until it turns golden brown. This step is very important because the meaty flavor of the beans will depend on this. Then, add the vegetables cut into squares (previously peeled): onion, red pepper, carrot and 4 cloves of garlic. Sauté everything together for about 5 minutes and then covers everything with water or chicken broth. Cover the pan and let it cook for about 30 minutes.

3.When there is about half an hour left before the beans are tender, they are drained and added to the pan along with the chicken and vegetables, and left to boil.

4.When there is only enough broth left in the pan to cover the ingredients with a finger, add the 2 cloves of garlic that we have previously fried in a pan, cut into slices, and the tablespoon of sweet paprika. We also incorporate a little chopped parsley and correct salt. And ready! Now you can enjoy this delicious dish of beans with chicken with white rice or a green salad.
