Ingredients to make Whiskey Salmon:
- 6 salmon fillets without skin or bones
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 shot of whiskey
- 1 pinch of salt
- 100 grams of breadcrumbs
- 1 drizzle of olive oil
- 1 pinch of pepper
- 3 tablespoons of liquid cream
- 1 egg
- 4 ripe medium tomatoes
- 1 small onion
How to make Whiskey Salmon:
- First of all, prepare the sauce, cutting the onion into very thin wedges, which we will slowly fry.
- When it softens, we will incorporate the tomato, letting it make a sauce, adding salt, pepper and sugar.
- Cook slowly and then pass through a fine strainer, pressing a lot with the pestle to extract juices and leave a smooth sauce.
- The salmon fillets will be seasoned and passed through beaten egg, then breaded and passed through a frying pan with hot oil until golden brown.
- Add the whiskey and the tablespoons of liquid cream to the tomato sauce, mixing everything well and bringing it to a boil.
- This sauce is distributed on the bottom of the plates and we will mount the freshly fried salmon fillets on top.
