Walnut Crusted Salmon Recipe

Salmon is a fatty fish with a strong flavor; it has a high content of Omega 3, excellent for the body. For their part, walnuts add an extra touch of nutrition to any preparation, as in this case, walnut-crusted salmon. This dish can be eaten with a good green salad, keep reading and discover the steps.

Ingredients to make Walnut Crusted Salmon:

  • 200 grams of Salmon
  • 80 grams of Walnuts
  • 1 unit of Lemon
  • 1 pinch of dried thyme
  • 1 dessert spoon of Dijon mustard
  • 20 milliliters of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of Pepper

How to make Walnut Crusted Salmon:

  1. Before making this fish recipe, the first step is to prepare all the ingredients.
  2. In a plate add the finely chopped walnuts, the thyme and the lemon zest, mix everything very well.
  3. Season the salmon and sprinkle the Dijon mustard on the opposite side of the skin.
  4. Arrange the salmon on the side where the mustard was placed in the chopped walnuts, until it is completely covered with these.
  5. In a refractory pan with oil, place the salmon and take it to the oven at 200ºC for 10 minutes.
  6. Finally, serve the salmon in a walnut crust and enjoy, we can accompany it with a few drops of lemon. Apple and celery salad will be an excellent accompaniment.
