Vietnamese Rice Recipe

Ingredients to make Vietnamese Rice:

  • 3 cups of cooked rice
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup of oil
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 6 sprigs of chives finely chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 piece of grated ginger of 5 cm
  • 2 red chili peppers, seeded and finely chopped (optional)
  • 250 grams of pork loin (pork)
  • 100 grams of chopped green beans
  • 100 grams of carrots cut into cubes
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • fresh coriander

How to make Vietnamese Rice:

  1. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a wok, add the eggs with a pinch of salt and stir until they are fully cooked. Chop into strips and reserve them.
  2. Add another tablespoon of oil in the wok, fry the onion, chives, garlic, ginger and chilies. Cook until the onion is transparent. Take them out of the wok and reserve.
  3. Sauté pork until browned. Take it out of the wok and reserve. Cook the carrot in the wok. The green beans and the paprika. When they are almost cooked add the rice and mix well.
  4. Add onion and meat mixture, sugar, soy sauce and stir well until blended. Add the chopped egg. Serve garnished with coriander leaves.
