Viennese coffee

Ingredients to make Viennese Coffee:

  • 100 grams of cocoa powder
  • 500 milliliters of espresso coffee
  • 200 milliliters of whipping cream (1 cup)
  • Sugar to taste
  • 1 pinch of Cinnamon powder

How to make Viennese Coffee:

  1. To obtain the Viennese coffee, the first thing we must do is prepare the espresso coffee. Remember that this refers to the preparation technique, which is characterized by being carried out in an espresso machine, specially designed for it. With this method of preparation we obtain a much faster and more concentrated coffee. If you don’t have it, make a coffee with an intense flavor.
  2. We serve the espresso coffee in individual cups, add a tablespoon of sugar and stir. In a saucepan, we melt the chocolate with 50 milliliters of liquid cream. If we do it in a bain-marie, better.
  3. When it is ready, we distribute it among the coffees and mix. Even, if you prefer, you can mix the coffee with the chocolate before serving and beat it so that it is a smoother mixture.
  4. Whip the rest of the cream with a pinch of sugar until firm. We crown the Viennese coffee with the whipped cream and sprinkle a little ground cinnamon. It is served immediately and in crystal cups or small glasses.
