Vegan Capers Salad Recipe

This salad with cherry tomatoes and basil is a version of the traditional capers salad that consists of presenting the tomato and mozzarella cheese cut into slices and seasoned with olive oil and oregano. In this recipe we are going to use cherry tomatoes that have a milder flavor and the delicious vegan mozzarella cheese that I previously shared so don’t miss out on this vegan capers salad.

Ingredients to make Vegan Capers Salad:

  • 250 grams of cherry tomatoes
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • 1 piece of vegan mozzarella
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • 1 splash of olive oil

How to make Vegan Capers Salad:

Cut the cherry tomatoes in half. Separate the basil leaves. Cut the vegan mozzarella into small pieces or crumble it with your hands. Here you have my recipe for vegan mozzarella cheese in case you want to make it homemade instead of buying it already made. In a bowl mix the cherry tomatoes, basil and vegan mozzarella. Dress the vegan capers salad with a good splash of olive oil, sprinkle the oregano on top and serve.
