Vegan BBQ Pizza Recipe

For this vegan pizza recipe we have prepared a vegan barbecue sauce, light and at the same time very tasty. In this way, all those people who have decided to eliminate all those foods derived from animals from their diet will also be able to enjoy the pure flavor of barbecue. Learn how to prepare it with these simple steps.

Ingredients to make Vegan Barbecue Pizza:

  • 1 unit of pizza dough
  • 1 bottle of tomato sauce
  • 1 splash of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of Mustard
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 unit of Chili
  • 1 tablespoon of Oil
  • 1 unit of onion
  • 1 unit of green pepper
  • ½ unit of red pepper
  • 100 grams of roasted red peppers
  • 3 tablespoons sweet corn

How to make Vegan BBQ Pizza:

  1. We prepare the ingredients for this homemade vegan pizza. We will make the vegan barbecue sauce with tomato sauce, mustard and soy sauce, as well as black pepper and chili.
  2. The rest of the ingredients, which are assorted vegetables, will season the pizza itself.
  3. For the base of the pizza, we have prepared homemade dough following the instructions of this recipe for pizza dough without yeast, very easy and fast.
  4. First we prepare the vegan barbecue sauce. In a pan with a little oil, fry the tomato sauce together with two tablespoons of Dijon mustard and a generous splash of soy sauce.
  5. We also add a chili pepper -which we can remove later-, black pepper and salt.
  6. Tip:Preheat the oven to 180ºC, the same temperature at which the pizza base was cooked for 10 minutes.
  7. After a few minutes of cooking, the vegan barbecue sauce is ready and we can spread it on the pizza base.
  8. Spread the roasted red peppers over the tomato sauce, evenly. Now we cut the onion, green pepper and red pepper into small pieces and mix them in a bowl.
  9. Next we spread them over the vegan barbecue sauce, and on top we have the sweet corn.
  10. With the oven preheated to 180ºC, we put the vegan pizza in the ovenfor 10 minutes. Remember that the pizza base had already been cooked for 10 minutes, so don’t overdo it with time.
  11. Cut the vegan barbecue pizzainto pieces and serve them right away. If you want, you can accompany your pizza with a green salad. Good appetite
