Veal stroganoff recipe with mushrooms

Ingredients to make Beef Stroganoff with Mushrooms:

  • 500 gr of Veal (in my case without fat)
  • 250 gr of sliced ​​mushrooms
  • 175 ml of cooking cream (in my case Puleva 5% MG)
  • Salt
  • 1 tablespoon
  • 3 large onions
  • 1 teaspoon of Olive Oil
  • Peppercorns

How to make Beef Stroganoff with Mushrooms:

  1. We must cut our beef lengthwise into pieces, we will do the same with the onions. And we’ll put each thing in a bowl.
  2. In a hot pan we pour our tablespoon of oil and roast the mushrooms and onion and better if we cover them so they soften before.
  3. When they have already taken color, it will be the turn to add our beef and if necessary we add the other teaspoon of oil to finish roasting the mixture, this time we do not cover the pan.
  4. When the meat is all roasted, it will be time to add at least 5-8 peppercorns and stir everything well, and then add the cream and stir well so that it is well impregnated with all the flavors of the pan.
  5. Try the point of salt and if necessary rectify.
  6. Leave covered for at least 4 minutes so that the sauce integrates well.
