How to make Stewed Veal Round in Sauce:
- The first step to prepare our veal in sauce will be to cut all the vegetables You can change the measurements of each ingredient to taste.
- To make the base sauce, we heat oil in a pot and place all the vegetables inside along with the bay leaves. Sauté everything until we can verify that the vegetables are soft, then add salt and pepper to taste and add the garlic, wine and parsley.
- While everything is cooking we are preparing the meat. To do this, pass the round steaks in flour, as seen in the photo and fry in a separate pan, until they are sealed on both sides.
- Do not overcook the round of veal as the rest of the cooking will be done in the sauce.
- When the sauce is ready, remove it from the pot and blend it until it forms a sauce. Remember to remove the bay leaf.
- Once our sauce is crushed, we will put the meat together with the sauce in the pot and let it cook for a few minutes until it starts to boil. So, we will add the mushrooms and leave it for ten more minutes.
- You can keep cooking until the sauce reduces to your liking.
- This round of beef stewed in sauce is very tasty and the best thing is that you can serve the meat bathed in sauce and accompany it with garnishes that take advantage of that same sauce, such as white rice or mashed potatoes. Bon Appetite!
