Ingredients to make Turkey Pesto Wrap:

  • 2 units of wheat pancakes
  • 6 slices of turkey cold cuts
  • 1 tablespoon of pine nuts
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil
  • 1 tablespoon grated cheese
  • 2½ tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to make Turkey Pesto Wrap:

We gather all the ingredients to make the pesto and turkey wraps. You can follow this recipe by varying the pesto sauce. Here we propose two other versions such as vegan pesto and lettuce pesto. To start, we prepare the pesto sauce: we put the pine nuts, the washed fresh basil and the olive oil in the blender jar. For this pesto we have dispensed with the garlic, but you can add it if you feel like it.

Add the grated cheese and beat until you get a thick sauce. If it is too liquid we can add more cheese and more pine nuts. It is preferable that the cheese is Parmesan, but if you do not have you can use any cured cheese that you like. Heat the wheat pancakes in a frying pan or griddle on both sides. Add the turkey breast to warm it up a bit. Remove the wraps from the pan, spread with a little pesto sauce and roll up.
