Ingredients to make Tuna Tataki with soy and sesame:

  • 180 grams of fresh tuna
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 4 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 piece of fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
  • 1 dessert spoon of sugar

How to make Tuna Tataki with soy and sesame:

  1. We gather all the ingredients to make the tuna tataki. We remember that it is necessary to freeze fresh tuna for at least 24 hours to kill any possible anisakis.
  2. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce with the sugar, the rice or white wine vinegar and the chopped ginger. Mix all ingredients.
  3. Cut the tuna into cubes and place them in a bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and let macerate for approximately 1 or 2 hours.
  4. After that time, drain the tuna and coat it with sesame, as seen in the image.
  5. In a skillet or griddle over high heat, pass the tuna tacos and cook them for 10 or 15 seconds on each side.
  6. Finally, with a sharp knife, cut the tuna tacos into thin slices and line them up to serve.
