- 500 grams of Tuna
- 100 milliliters of soy sauce
- 2 avocados
- 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon of Oil
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 spring onion
- 10 Gherkins
- 1 teaspoon of Siracha or Tabasco
- 1 pinch of salt
How to make Tuna Tartare with tomato and avocado:
- We gather all the ingredients and start by finely chopping the onion and gherkins. You can do the cutting by hand or use an all-round pick to do it. Mix and reserve.
- Separately, we chop the tuna into small and regular cubes. A good tartar differs in the cut of the main ingredient; in this case it is best to do it by hand with a sharp knife, making sure that the pieces are as regular as possible.
- When we have it, we mix it with the onion and the gherkin. Season with soy sauce and add hot sauce to taste.
- Chop the avocado into small pieces, more or less the same size as the tuna or slightly larger. Season the avocado separately with salt and lemon juice.
- We also chop the tomato following the same instructions; add a point of salt and reserve.
- To assemble the tartare presentation, we use a plating ring and first put a layer of avocado, then the tomato and finally the tuna mixture.
- When removing the ring, the three layers must be distinguished by colors, green, red and dark red
- This tuna tartare with tomato and avocado is a perfect starter, although the portion is large, you can serve it as a main course. Accompany with toasted bread or crackers and that’s it.
