Tuna Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe

If you like to prepare appetizers or a snack for Christmas parties, these mushrooms stuffed with tuna are a delight and are prepared in a very easy way, as you will see in the step by step that I share.

This recipe for mushrooms stuffed with tuna, simple and quick to prepare, has a little grated cheese that gives it a very good touch but it is optional. You can prepare the mushrooms stuffed with tuna in advance and leave them prepared just to give them a touch of grill to gratin the cheese or microwave.

Ingredients to make Tuna Stuffed Mushrooms:

  • 12 large mushrooms
  • 2 small cans of tuna in oil
  • 1 onion
  • 50 grams of grated cheese (optional)
  • 1 splash of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to make Tuna Stuffed Mushrooms:

We prepare all the ingredients of the mushrooms with tuna. We clean the mushrooms and cut the trunks. Cut the onion into very small pieces and the trunks of the mushrooms.

Put a pan with a splash of oil, put the onion so that it browns a little and add the mushroom trunks. Sauté the two ingredients until they are well browned. Open the cans of tuna and drain the oil. Add the tuna along with the onion and mushrooms, sauté for a few minutes and turn off the heat. We put a griddle with a jet of oil and put the mushrooms to brown for a few minutes. We take them out and fill them with the prepared tuna filling.

When serving, put the grated cheese on top of the mushrooms stuffed with prawns, put them in the oven or microwave, let the cheese melt and remove them. We serve the freshly baked tuna stuffed mushrooms au gratin as a warm starter, or let them cool if you prefer but I like them better that way. Another starter that I love is the baked meat dumplings.
