How to make Tuna Empanada in Puff Pastry:
To start preparing the empanada filling, chop the onion and fry it together with the filleted garlic. When the previous preparation begins to brown, add the tomato sauce. Sauté everything together and add the shredded tuna. Keep frying and stir with a wooden spoon so that all the ingredients are integrated. Take the puff pastry, spread it out on a floured surface and cut two equal rectangles. They must be fine.
Put one of the rectangles on a floured baking tray and pour the previous filling on top, which must be cold. Distribute it well and place the roasted and peeled peppers. Cover the tuna empanada with the second rectangle of puff pastry, close the edges and decorate the top with strips of puff pastry to your liking. Spread the entire surface of the empanada with beaten egg and bake it for 35 to 40 minutes at 160-170ºC.
