How to make Tuna dumplings with puff pastry:

The first step will be to fry the onion for the filling of our empanadillas. To do it, peel, wash and cut the onion into small pieces, then take it to a pan with a splash of oil over low heat. Apart go making the boiled eggs in a pan with water.

Peel the tomatoes and cut them into small pieces, add to the pan along with the onion and stir until the tomato dissolves. Then season the sofrito with a pinch of salt and a pinch of black pepper, keep stirring. While the sauce is being made, open the cans of tuna, drain the oil it contains and then add the tuna to the pan and mix everything well. To finish with the filling, add a splash of white wine and keep cooking over low heat.

Trick: To make these homemade tuna dumplings you can use tuna in oil or natural tuna.

When the boiled eggs are ready, you should chop them into small pieces. To do this you can put them in the freezer for a bit, so you will avoid burning your fingers. When you have it, put the hard-boiled eggs in the pan and mix everything. Remove the tuna filling from the heat and reserve. To form the empanadillas you will have to take out the pieces of dough, place a portion of the mixture with tuna and close, sealing the edges with a fork. I remember not being able to overstuff because they can open up when cooking. Heat a pan with enough oil, over medium heat, and fry the dumplings until golden brown. Be careful with the flame because if the oil is very hot it can burn the empanadillas until they are cooked well.

Remove from the pan and reserve on a plate with an absorbent paper towel to remove excess oil. The tuna dumplings with puff pastry will be so appetizing. You will see that following this easy recipe you will enjoy a delicious appetizer!
