Tuna and onion pizza recipe

Ingredients to make Tuna and Onion Pizza:

  • 150 grams of flour.
  • 1 deciliter of warm water.
  • 1 tablespoon of virgin olive oil.
  • 10 grams of baker’s yeast.
  • A pinch of salt.
  • 6 tablespoons of fried tomato.
  • 200 grams of canned tuna.
  • 100 grams of onion.
  • 50 grams of mushrooms.
  • 1 green pepper.
  • 100 grams of cheese to melt special pizzas.

How to make Tuna and Onion Pizza:

  1. We make the pizza dough. To do this, first of all, we mix the salt with the flour, and on the other hand, we dissolve the yeast in the warm water with the two tablespoons of virgin olive oil.
  2. Then, in a salad bowl or a large bowl, add the flour and little by little the lukewarm water until consistent and elastic dough isformed that does not stick.
  3. Once the dough is formed, we shape it into a ball and let it rest covered with a damp cloth until it doubles its size.
  4. We knead the ball again and we extend it little by little, giving it the shape of a large plate approximately one centimeter thick.
  5. We place it on a metal base greased with oil so that it does not stick and bake it for 10 minutes at 200ºOnce the pizza dough is slightly cooked, we take it out of the oven.
  6. We place a fried tomato base on the pizza. Add the canned tunadrained from the oil and crumbled.
  7. Together with the tuna we place the thin slices of onion, the green pepper cut into strips and the mushrooms.
  8. We decorate the onion and tuna pizzawith grated cheese and cook it for 15 minutes in the oven preheated to 200ºC.
