Tuna and oatmeal croquettes recipe

Ingredients to make Tuna and Oatmeal Croquettes:

  • 2 cups of oatmeal
  • ½ cup of milk (120 milliliters)
  • 2 Egg
  • 1 can of large tuna
  • 1 sprig of parsley
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of Butter

How to make Tuna and Oatmeal Croquettes:

To make these delicious canned tuna croquettes with oatmeal, the first thing we will do is soak the oatmeal in milk. After a few minutes mix the two ingredients well. On the other hand, mix the egg together with the tuna. In this recipe for homemade tuna croquettes we have used the classic tuna in oil, but if you prefer you can use natural light tuna.

Next, join the two mixtures, oatmeal and tuna and stir everything until the ingredients are integrated as best you can. Finely chop the parsley and add it to the croquette mixture as well. With the croquette dough ready, now it’s time to heat the butter over medium heat in a pan. Then, form pancakes with the mixture and fry on each side until golden brown.

Remove to a plate with absorbent paper to remove excess oil and enjoy the tuna and oatmeal croquettes. Bon Appetite!
