Tomato Risotto Recipe

Ingredients to make Tomato Risotto:

  • 1 1/2 cup(s) plain rice
  • 1 tablespoon(s) butter
  • 1/2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
  • 1/2 large jar(s) tomato(s), drained
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) brown chili powder
  • 5 cup(s) chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup(s) white wine

How to make Tomato Risotto:

  1. Mix the chopped tomatoes with chili, thyme, oregano and basil.
  2.  Boil the broth with the wine and keep boiling.
  3. Heat the butter and oil in another pot, add the onion and fry for 2 minutes, without browning.
  4. Add the rice, stir for a minute.
  5.  Add a ladleful of broth, stirring continuously until absorbed.
  6. Add another ladle and do the same.
  7. The operation lasts approximately 20 minutes, it should be creamy.
  8. Cut the heat and add the tomato mixture.
  9. Stir vigorously and serve immediately.
