Tomato Basil Soup Recipe

Ingredients to make Tomato Basil Soup:

  • 5 units of ripe tomato
  • 500 milliliters of chicken broth
  • 200 milliliters of milk cream (1 cup)
  • 1 cup of white wine
  • 1 cup of whole milk
  • 1 unit of purple onion
  • 2 tablespoons dried basil
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper

How to make Tomato Basil Soup:

  1. Prelist all the ingredients.
  2. In a deep pot, add a little sunflower oil and fry the red onion.
  3. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Once the onion is transparent, add the basil.
  5. Let fry for 5 more minutes.
  6. Wash the tomatoes and remove the base, cut them into four hulls. Reserve them.
  7. Add the tomatoes to the pot where the onion and the other mixed ingredients are.
  8. Add the garlic powder.
  9.  Let fry for about 10 more minutes.
  10. Add the chicken broth and milk.
  11. Let cook for 20 minutes over medium heat.
  12.  Turn off the heat and let cool.
  13. Once the soup is cold, add it to a bowl and blend it.
  14. Using a strainer, sift or strain the soup to obtain a finer consistency and texture.
  15. Bring the soup to medium heat again and add the white wine.
  16. Leave for 5 minutes and turn off the heat.
  17. Serve with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on top and a tablespoon or two of heavy cream.
  18. Enjoy the tomato basil soup and bon appetite!
