Tofu with tomato recipe

Ingredients to make Tofu with tomato:

  • 400 grams of Tofu
  • ½ cup of flour (70 grams)
  • 1 can of fried tomato
  • 1 tablespoon paprika powder

How to make Tomato Tofu:

1.To prepare this vegan recipe, the first step will be to cut the tofu into strips about two centimeters thick and about 5 wide. We will use tofu that is easy to cut, you can get it in your usual supermarket or where they sell Bio products.

2.Separately, prepare a sauce by mixing the fried tomato with the paprika. You can use hot paprika if you want and if you can’t get fried tomato, you can also use crushed tomato with a little tomato concentrate.

3.Pass the tofu pieces through flour and then through the tomato sauce. Stir well until the tofu is completely impregnated with tomato. Let marinate for at least an hour in the fridge.

4.Heat a frying pan with enough oil and when it is hot, fry the tofu bars with tomato, cooking a couple of minutes on each side. Let drain for a few minutes and recover the tomato and flour crusts that have remained in the pan.

5.Serve the tofu with tomato, decorating with the fried flour and tomato and accompany with broccoli curry or a vegetable wok.
