Tofu marinated in soy sauce recipe

This food offers us a whole range of possibilities in terms of cooking recipes, since we can accompany it with practically anything. On this occasion, we have decided to prepare marinated tofu in soy sauce to serve as a side dish. Keep reading and discover the step by step to learn how to cook this vegan recipe.

Ingredients to make Marinated Tofu in Soy Sauce:

  • 1 package of Tofu in block
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger
  • 3 tablespoons of long onion or green onion
  • 1 cup of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic paste
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper

How to make Marinated Tofu in Soy Sauce:

1.Before starting to prepare the recipe you must prepare the ingredients.

2.Cut the block of tofu into squares and place them in a deep bowl, as seen in the photograph. Then add the soy sauce.

3.Add the rest of the ingredients, including the garlic paste. Mix the ingredients well so that the tofu is well impregnated with the marinade and reserve the container in the refrigerator for 45 minutes.

4.When the tofu marinated in soy sauce is ready, remove the container from the fridge and place a pan over medium heat with a teaspoon of sunflower oil. When the oil is hot, fry the tofu for a few minutes, or until you see the cubes turn golden brown.
