How to make Tijuana Style Ground Beef Burritos:
Get all the ingredients of the ground beef burritos recipe and keep them on hand in the kitchen. We start by finely chopping the garlic and onion, and as for the tomato sauce, you can make it yourself with the homemade tomato sauce recipe. Ground beef for burritos should be beef, and if possible mixed with a little pork to make it juicier.
Heat a large frying pan with a splash of oil and sauté the garlic and onion until the latter begins to change color. At that moment we add the ground meat and we are stirring at the same time that we season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
When we see that the meat begins to be cooked, we add the cheese in the pan, wait for it to melt a little and then add the beans, followed by the tomato sauce. We check the seasoning of the filling of the minced meat burritos and correct it if necessary.
When we have the meat ready, all we have to do is assemble the Tijuana-style burritos. To do this, we spread the previously heated tortillas in a pan or Comal and place a portion of the meat in the center. They are wrapped and ready.
Tip: There is also the option to fry the burritos, but that is to your liking.
Enjoy these scrumptious Tijuana-style ground beef burritos with a little sour cream and Pico de Gallo …and bon appetite! As a drink you can have a very cold Mexican michelada for example.
