Tie Soup Recipe

Ingredients to make Tie Soup:

  • 75 gr ties
  • 1/2 bay leaf(s)
  • 1 tablespoon(s) olive oil
  • 1/2 onion(s) chopped
  • 1 1/2 garlic clove(s) minced
  • 2 unit(s) tomato(s) peeled and chopped
  • 4 cup(s) chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon(s) chopped chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) thyme
  • to taste pepper
  • salt to taste

How to make Tie Soup:

  1. Cook the ties in plenty of boiling water with a pinch of salt and a bay leaf for 7 minutes.
  2. Fry the garlic and onion in olive oil.
  3. Add the tomato and broth.
  4. Add oregano, thyme, salt and pepper.
  5. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
  6. Serve hot over the ties and sprinkle with chives.
