Three Cheese Rice Recipe

Ingredients to make Three Cheese Rice:

  • 2 cup(s) rice
  • 50 g Chanco cheese
  • 50 g sweet cheese
  • 50 g Gruyère cheese
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) butter
  • 1 lt broth
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • Nutmeg
  • salt and pepper to taste

How to make Three Cheese Rice:

  1. Chop the onion finely. In a saucepan melt the butter, add the onion and the rice, brown for a few minutes.
  2. Cook the rice gradually adding the broth.
  3. Meanwhile cut the three types of cheese into small squares, melt them lightly with a little butter, in a saucepan and sprinkle with nutmeg.
  4. When the rice is ready, add the melted cheeses, salt and pepper to taste and mix very well.
  5. Serve immediately hot.
