Thermomix Recipe: Fish Soup

Ingredients to make Thermomix: Fish Soup:

  • 1/2 Kg of well cleaned mussels
  • 4 fish fillets (can be frozen)
  • 200 g of prawns
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 100 g (1 tumbler) of white wine
  • 2 tablets of fish broth
  • 2 hardboiled eggs
  • 1/2 cup of parsley leaves
  • pepper (optional)
  • For the sauce
  • 100 g (1 cup) of oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 3 ripe tomatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 green bell pepper for frying
  • 1/2 red bell pepper

How to make Thermomix: Fish Soup:

  1. Put 1/2 liter of water and the mussels in a saucepan and let them boil until they open. Remove from heat, discard shells and reserve cooking liquid and mussels. Chop the eggs.
  2. Next, peel the prawns and put the shells and heads in the glass. Add 3 cups of water and program 5 minutes, temperature 100º, speed 4.
  3. When finished, pass this broth through a very fine strainer and reserve it together with the liquid from the mussels.
  4. Next, wash the glass and the lid well and make the sauce. Pour all the ingredients into the glass and program 6 seconds at speed 3 1/2 so that everything is chopped. Then, program 5 minutes, temperature 100º, speed 5.
  5. When finished, add the reserved broth, the fish fillets in pieces, the bay leaf, the white wine, the bouillon tablets and pepper. Program 12 minutes, temperature 100º speed 1.
  6. Shortly before the end of cooking, add the mussels, the prawns, the sliced ​​or diced hard-boiled eggs and the chopped parsley.
  7. Rectify the seasoning and add more water if necessary. Pour into a tureen and serve.
  8. If you want everything to be finely chopped, at the end of cooking program 6 seconds at speed 3 1/2. If you add more water, program a few more minutes.
