Thermomix Recipe: Cuttlefish Caldeirada

Ingredients to make Thermomix: Caldeirada de Sepia:

  • 600 g of Cuttlefish, clean and chopped
  • 200 g of crushed tomato
  • 100g of oil
  • 50g vinegar
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 400g onion
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1 green pepper
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 3 teaspoons of sweet paprika
  • 1,400 kg. of chopped potatoes
  • 170g of water

How to make Thermomix: Caldeirada de Sepia:

  1. Put the onion, the pepper, the garlic in the Thermomix and chop for 12 seconds speed 3 helping you with the spatula, add the tomato and the oil and program at Varoma speed 1 temperature.
  2. Add the cuttlefish, paprika, vinegar, salt and bay leaf and program 5 minutes at Varoma temperature speed 1.
  3. Add the water and 200 g of chopped potatoes.
  4. Put the rest of the potato into pieces in the Varoma container and program Varoma temperature 1 for 40 minutes.
  5. Once finished, we put the potatoes and cuttlefish in a container and let it rest.
  6. While in the Thermomix we put a little salt water and heat it for 3 minutes Varoma veil 5.
  7. We add this broth to the cuttlefish and let it rest.
