Textured soy sauce recipe

FoodsDiary By FoodsDiary

This textured soy dish with vegetables is very simple to prepare, but at the same time rich and healthy. Textured soy is a great substitute for meat in vegan cuisine, as it provides the diet with the necessary plant-based protein and does not contain cholesterol or excess saturated fat.

For this textured soy sauce that I share, we can use thick textured soy protein that comes in the form of soy balls or fillets that we will have to chop.

To give it an Asian touch, we will season the dish with soy sauce and ginger. If you don’t know how to make textured soybeans keep reading.

Ingredients to make Textured Soy Sauté:

  • 2 cups of coarse textured soybeans or 3 fillets
  • 2 cups of vegetable broth
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 can of Bamboo
  • 1 splash of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 piece of fresh ginger
  • 1 pinch of pepper

How to make Textured Soy Sauté:

1.The first step in preparing this textured soy stir fry is to soak the textured soy protein in the hot vegetable broth for 20 minutes. Next, drain it well, squeezing it with your hands, trying to remove as much liquid as possible. If we use fillets, we cut them into small or medium pieces. We booked.

2.Next, peel and chop the garlic and the piece of ginger (1.5 cm long). We drain the bamboo.

3.Then heat a little oil in a frying pan and fry the garlic with the ginger. When the garlic begins to brown, add the bamboo, the soy meat, a good splash of soy sauce and a pinch of pepper. And we sauté the textured soybeans with vegetables for about 10-12 minutes.

4.We serve the textured soy sauté as a main dish accompanied by loose rice, vegetables or baked potatoes.
