Tabbouleh Recipe

Ingredients to make Tabbouleh:

  1. 200 grams of bulgur
  2. 400 milliliters of water
  3. 2 tomatoes
  4. 1 cucumbers
  5. 1 onion or spring onion
  6. 1 handful of mint
  7. 1 splash of olive oil
  8. 1 pinch of salt
  9. 1 bunch of parsley
  10. 1 tablespoon of butter

How to make Tabbouleh:

  • Put a saucepan with the water to cook over medium heat with a little salt. When it starts to boil add the bulgur and leave it until it is dry, approximately 10 minutes depending on the bulgur. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Prepare the vegetables. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into pieces (you can use cherry tomatoes). Peel the cucumber and cut it into small squares; do the same with the onion.
  • Once the bulgur is cooked, add a tablespoon of butter, mix it and put the bulgur in a bowl. You can put the bulgur in the fridge until you prepare the salad to cool down. You can also reserve the salad in the fridge for a while before serving it.
  • Add the chopped vegetables to the pan along with the bulgur.
  • Squeeze the lemon and pour it over all the ingredients. Stir.
