How to make chard pudding:

We wash the chard leaves well and remove the strands to start preparing the recipe.

Cut the chard into small pieces and put them in a saucepan. To make Swiss chard pudding, I steam it, but you can also cook it in boiling water and then drain. On the other hand, while the chard is cooking, we take a bowl, put the 3 eggs and beat.

Add the milk cream, grated cheese, a little salt and stir everything well. To enhance the flavor of chard pudding, you can also add pepper to taste.

When the chard is ready, drain it well and add it to the egg mixture. We continue stirring to mix all the ingredients.

We take a mold suitable for the oven, spread with a little butter and put all the mixture in the mold. Then, we bake the Swiss chard pudding at 160ºC for 15 minutes. It is important that the oven is preheated.

When we see that it is, we will prick it with a toothpick and if it comes out dry it will be ready. We should not leave the pudding much longer in the oven to prevent it from being too dry, in fact, it is better if it is a little juicy.

Remove the chard cake from the oven, carefully unmold and serve. This chard pudding recipe is very easy and delicious, ideal for lunch or dinner, accompanied by some baked potatoes, a tomato salad or the side dish that we like the most.
