Sweet Potato Celery Soup Recipe

Ingredients to make Sweet Potato Celery Soup:

  • 500 grams of Celery
  • 100 grams of wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons of dried oregano
  • 1 unit of red onion
  • 3 units of Creole sweet potato
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 cup of white wine
  • 300 milliliters of chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper

How to make Sweet Potato Celery Soup:

  1. Pre-list all the ingredients to prepare the vegetable soup.
  2. Cut the onion into small squares, in a deep pot over medium heat add a splash of sunflower oil and fry until transparent.
  3. Once the onion is transparent, add the celery and flour.
  4. Let fry for 10 minutes.
  5. Add the chicken broth, garlic, oregano, salt and pepper and the potato cut into small squares (so that it dissolves in the soup).
  6. Let the soup cook for 20 or 25 minutes.
  7. Turn off the heat and add the white wine and butter.
  8. Let the sweet potato and celery soup cool.
  9. Once the soup is warm or cold, process with a mixer or in a blender.
  10. Strain the soup to obtain a fine-textured dish.
  11. Serve the celery and potato soup with a tablespoon of heavy cream and dried oregano sprinkled on top. Enjoy.
