Sushi recipe with wasabi

Ingredients to make Sushi with wasabi:

  • 250 grams of rice for sushi
  • 200 grams of fresh fish (tuna or salmon)
  • 2 sheets of Nori Seaweed
  • wasabi
  • sweet pickled ginger
  • soy sauce
  • 1 dessert spoon of sugar
  • 1 splash of vinegar

How to make Sushi with wasabi:

  2. With the issue of rice resolved, we proceed to prepare the filling. To do this, cut the fish into strips the same length as the Nori seaweed sheets. If you want, you can also add some vegetables like avocado or cucumber, cutting them in the same way as the fish.
  3. To assemble the sushi, place the wooden mat on a flat surface and the Nori seaweed sheet on top. Place a ball of rice in the center and spread it over the entire surface with the tips of your fingers moistened with a little water.
  4. Tip: If you don’t have a mat, you can use plastic or a cloth lined with transparent kitchen paper.
  5. Then place a few wasabi dots on the rice, in the center along the surface. Then place the fish and vegetables if you have decided to include them.
  6. Roll the sushi pressing three times, first one turn and pressure, then another turn and pressure and once more until the entire sheet is rolled. Repeat this process until you finish all the ingredients, remember that you can make different combinations of ingredients.
  7. Tip: Cream cheese is also very good in this type of sushi with wasabi.
  8. To serve the sushi with wasabi, use a very sharp knife and cut the pieces of sushi.
