Surimi and bacon bagel recipe

This surimi and mayonnaise sandwich is simply great! It is an easy sandwich to prepare that you can serve for brunch on the weekend or even for dinner. This time I have used bagel-type bread, which is very fashionable and adds a gourmet touch to the recipe.

Get the ingredients ready and learn how to make a special sandwich, with many ingredients and lots of color. Once you try the bacon surimi bagel, you’ll want to eat it every week.

Ingredients to make Surimi and Bacon Bagel:

  • 1 bagel unit
  • 2 slices of cheese
  • 2 slices of Bacon

Filling

  • 1 dessert spoon of Mustard
  • 2 tablespoons of Mayonnaise
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper
  • 6 units of crab sticks or Surimi
  • ½ can of peas
  • ½ sheet of sweet corn

How to make Surimi Bacon Bagel:

Once you have gathered all the ingredients, the first thing you should do is prepare the filling for the bagel-type sandwich that we are going to make. To do this, finely chop the crab sticks, make sure that all the surimi is well discarded. Next, place the surimi in a bowl and mix with the rest of the ingredients on the list. The idea is to form a paste as seen in the photo. Correct the seasoning and add salt and pepper to taste.

Here you have the homemade mayonnaise recipe in case you want to prepare the sauce yourself. To start assembling the bagel, the first thing will be to cut the bacon into pieces and brown it a little. You can do it in the pan, without oil, or by placing the bacon in the microwave, covered with absorbent paper, for a minute.

Leave it as toasted as you like and place it on the base of the bread. Immediately add the slices of cheese, the hot bacon will make the cheese melt a little. You can use any type of cheese, although the one that is special for sandwiches goes perfectly.

To finish, place the surimi filling with mayonnaise and cover the bagel. If you wish, you can flatten the sandwich a bit or heat the bread slightly before assembling it.

Enjoy this surimi and bacon bagel on the weekend, accompanied by an orange and banana smoothie and some deviled eggs…
