Ingredients to make Stewed Peas:
- Two onions
- Three carrots
- 1 kg of frozen peas
- A glass of white wine
- Water (two glasses)
- Salt
- Oil
- ham cubes
How to make Stewed Peas:
1.In a very large pot, pour oil to brown the finely chopped onions and carrots.
2.When they are poached add the wine, two minutes later add the peas, salt to taste and water.
3.For an hour we will stir until all the water is consumed and it is tested to see if more salt needs to be added.
4.When served, add the ham cubes on top.
