Ingredients to make stewed pardon lentils:
- 2 glasses of pardon lentils
- 1 splash of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 tomato
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 pinch of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
- 1/2 cube of meat broth
- 1 sausage
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Water
- 1/2 onion
How to make stewed pardon lentils:
1.We put the pardon lentils to soak for a couple of hours before preparing the dish, and then we wash them and drain them well.
2.Cover the base of the pot with olive oil.
3.Add all the ingredients for the stewed pardon lentils together with the paprika, the salt, the bouillon cube, and the chorizo (we prick it a little). And cover well with water.
4.Half cover the pot (as I call it) and put the pardon lentils to cook over low heat. About half an hour later I try them, turn them off and let them rest for 10 minutes.
