Ingredients to make Stewed Mackerel:
- Mackerel cut into pieces of about 3 cm.
- Potatoes
- 1 onion
- 1 tomato
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
- Oil
- Salt
How to make Stewed Mackerel:
- Cut the mackerel, add a few sands of salt.
- Chop the onion and roast it in the oil. Then add the tomato and let them cook over low heat.
- Add the sweet paprika and put the sliced potatoes and cover them with water. Let everything cook for 5 minutes over low heat. VERY IMPORTANT: never stir the stew , just move the pan.
- After the 5 minutes, put the mackerel on top. Try the sauce; if it is sour, add a pinch of sugar. Let it cook over low heat.
- It will be ready when the potatoes can be pierced well with a fork. Enjoy the stewed mackerel.
