Stew recipe or beef broth

Ingredients to make Puchero or beef broth:

  • ½ kilogram of Beef Brisket
  • ½ kilogram of Cuete or wheel (with marrow or marrow, 1/2 cabbage or cabbage cut into 2 parts
  • 2 units of Potatoes cut into 4 parts
  • 3 units of Elotes cut into pieces
  • 4 units of carrots cut into slices
  • 100 grams of green beans
  • ½ unit of Onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 unit of Chayote cut into 4 parts
  • 1 branch of yerbabuena
  • 1 bunch of coriander

How to make Puchero or beef broth:

  1. Put 3 liters of water in a large pot, place the meat in several pieces, along with the corn and cook with the onion and garlic and salt to taste.
  2. When the meat is already cooked, add the cabbage (cabbage), potatoes, carrots, green beans, chayote, mint and cilantro and leave to cook for about 15 more minutes.
  3. It is accompanied with rice soup in the same plate where the broth was served.
