Ingredients to make steamed Corvina:
- 1 unit of medium Corvina
- 3 units of onion
- 3 units of tomatoes
- 2 branches of parsley
- 1 unit of green pepper cut into strips
- ½ cup of soy sauce
- 1 pinch of salt
How to make steamed Corvina:
- As the name of the recipe indicates, this dish is steamed. Get a large pot or skillet big enough to cook the sea bass whole, with cross-cuts in the sides to release its juices.
- If you don’t have such a large container, cut the sea bass into thick medallions. The first thing you should do is prepare the sauce. To do this, cook the pepper cut into strips and the chopped onion over medium heat with a little oil for approximately 3 minutes. Then, add the crushed or chopped tomatoes and the soy sauce.
- Immediately afterwards, add the sea bass previously seasoned and covered with the sprigs of parsley. If you wish, you can sprinkle the spices of your choice, such as thyme. Cover the pot or pan, for the minimum fire and let it cook until the fish is ready.
- When the steamed sea bass is ready, serve it with the vegetables and the remaining juice and accompany it with white rice and the salad of your choice.
