Spinach and Ricotta Lasagna Recipe

Lasagna is a type of pasta in the form of a sheet, it is prepared by interspersing the sheets with any type of sauce and at the end cheese is added to brown, this recipe is ideal for people who do not eat meat, spinach and ricotta together they match perfectly.

Ingredients to make Spinach and Ricotta Lasagna:

  • 1 bunch of spinach leaves
  • 2 tablespoons of Butter
  • 1 tablespoon of wheat flour
  • 1 cup of Milk (240 milliliters)
  • 200 grams of Lasagna sheets
  • 200 grams of Ricotta Cheese
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of Pepper

How to make Spinach and Ricotta Lasagna:

  1. Before making this recipe, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready.
  2. In a frying pan, melt a tablespoon of butter and then add the flour, cook over low heat until it changes color.
  3. Apart, again in a pan with butter, cook the spinach leaves until they reduce their size, season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add the milk little by little and beat until you get a creamy consistency, rectify the flavor with salt and pepper, add the spinach and mix everything.
  5. To continue with the elaboration of the spinach lasagna, place a special refractory mold for the oven, previously greased with butter, a sheet of lasagna (precooked) and on it a little of the sauce and two tablespoons of crumbled ricotta cheese, do this same procedure until the lasagna is finished.
  6. Ricotta cheese is also known as cottage cheese.
  7. Take the refractory to the oven and cook for 45 minutes at 200 degrees C, until the pasta is completely cooked and the cheese has browned.
  8. Serve the spinach and ricotta lasagnaand enjoy, it is ideal to eat at lunchtime accompanied by a baguette or some toast.
