Spinach and bacon salad recipe

Here I leave you a simple salad to make, ideal to serve as a delicious starter. Without a doubt, you will love its taste, although be careful if you are on a diet, since bacon is high in calories! So if you want to give yourself this pleasure, try cooking, for example, some baked fish as a second course. Do not miss the step by step and prepare this spinach and bacon salad.

Ingredients to make Spinach and Bacon Salad:

  • 100 grams of Spinach
  • 100 grams of bacon strips
  • 100 grams of raisin
  • 25 grams of pine nuts
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 1 jet of oil
  • 1 splash of Vinegar of Modena
  • 1 pinch of Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of honey

How to make Spinach and Bacon Salad:

We prepare all the ingredients with their corresponding quantities. We start by cooking the bacon, frying it over medium heat when the oil is hot.

When the bacon is golden brown, add the raisins and the pine nuts to be fried so that the flavors mix. Previously we will have prepared the spinach and the cheese in the container where we are going to put the salad and we will put the bacon on top with the other ingredients that we had in the pan, trying not to let the frying oil fall on us.

On the other hand, we will prepare the vinaigrette with honey, Modena vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper. Also, I added a pinch of apple cider vinegar so it wouldn’t be too thick and it wouldn’t be too sweet when mixing the vinaigrette with the salad. Everything is mixed well.

And finally, pour the vinaigrette over the salad and mix everything, you will have a delicious spinach and bacon salad.
