Spinach and Artichoke Dip Recipe

Dips are spreadable sauces that are usually consumed with snacks such as banana chips, French fries or toast. Today we have prepared a nutritious dip with spinach and artichokes with which you can liven up your next meeting or complete the appetizer table.

Ingredients to make Spinach and Artichoke Dip:

  • 250 grams of cream cheese
  • 1 unit of Artichoke
  • 1 bunch of spinach
  • 1 unit of Onion
  • 1 lemon unit
  • 20 grams of butter
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper

How to make Spinach Artichoke Dip:

  1. Before making this recipe, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready.
  2. In a pot with water, cover and cook the artichoke for 1 hour, until the leaves detach easily. Remove the leaves and cut the heart into very small cubes.
  3. Separately, in a frying pan, melt the butter and fry the onion cut into small cubes until soft and slightly translucent.
  4. Add the spinach leaves cut into pieces. Cook for a few minutes until reduced in size, season with salt and pepper.
  5. Mix cream cheese with lemon juice, salt and pepper until smooth.
  6. Add the finely chopped spinach and the heart of the artichoke, mix everything very well and rectify the flavor with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve and enjoy the spinach and artichoke dip along with some baked potato chips.
