Spiced Deluxe Potatoes Recipe

A few weeks ago I brought you some delicious vegan bean and quinoa burgers and their fabulous sauce. Well, I had to show you the garnish with which I accompany them. If I told you then how fantastic the hamburgers are, I will tell you this time that this garnish does not detract from them in the least. Seriously, you haven’t tried anything like it. They are spectacular and in fact I have to admit that I have become addicted, heh, heh. Really! Easier impossible and I also teach you a little trick to make them in no time. Healthier than French fries as they are not fried and have very little oil and are much better. They really are going to change your life, so keep reading and discover how to make deluxe spiced potatoes.

Ingredients to make Spiced Deluxe Potatoes:

  • 2 potatoes
  • Cumin powder
  • Sweet paprika (or smoked)
  • Ground black pepper
  • Salt
  • Olive oil
  • 1 pinch of ginger powder (optional)

How to make Spiced Deluxe Potatoes:

First of all, it should be noted that the quantities of the ingredients will depend on the number of guests. That said, we wash and peel the potatoes (with skin they are also very good). We cut them into wedges to make the deluxe spiced potatoes, or in the way we like.

There are two ways to make the deluxe spiced potato recipe. Season them and put them directly in the oven, as I did this time, or first put the potatoes in the microwave for about 4 minutes. Then, we season them and bake them. In this way the baking time will decrease considerably, being as rich as the first way.

If we decide to put them in the microwave first, we will do it as is, without adding anything, once they are cut into segments. After microwaving, put them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and season to taste. We mix.

Next, add a splash of olive oil (without going overboard) and mix again. We put them in the hot oven at 200 ºC for about 40 – 50 minutes (if we have not put them in the microwave first) or for about 20 – 25 if they are precooked. Halfway through the time we will remove them so that they brown evenly, on all sides. The time is indicative, it may vary depending on the oven. When we see that the deluxe spiced potatoes have the golden hue and crispy appearance that we like, we take them out and serve immediately (be careful, they burn!)

Now that we know how to make deluxe spiced fries, we serve them with ketchup, special hamburger sauce, or even homemade guacamole. Or without anything, because they are so good and have so much flavor that they do not need any seasoning to enjoy them to the fullest. Fabulous!
