Spaghetti with Pumpkin Sauce Recipe

In this recipe we will learn how to make spaghetti with pumpkin sauce, this sauce is very soft and light, it gives a delicious sweet flavor to the pasta that you will surely love. In addition, it is a perfect recipe for vegetarians, and a different way of eating pasta since it is natural and nutritious.

Ingredients to make Spaghetti with pumpkin sauce:

  1. 250 grams of Spaghetti
  2. 200 grams of Pumpkin
  3. 1 unit of white onion
  4. 2 garlic cloves
  5. 100 milliliters of Cream of milk (½ cup)
  6. 1 branch of Coriander
  7. 30 milliliters of olive oil
  8. 1 pinch of salt
  9. 1 pinch of Pepper

How to make Spaghetti with Pumpkin Sauce:

  • Before making this pumpkin recipe, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready.
  • In a pot with boiling water and a pinch of salt, cook the pumpkin  cut into pieces with the skin, until soft.
  • In a skillet with oil, fry the onion and garlic until soft, about 5 minutes.
  • Peel the pumpkin, process it with the onion and garlic until obtaining a homogeneous mixture.
  • In a pot add the pumpkin sauce, add the milk cream, mix very well and cook over low heat for 5 minutes, rectify the flavor with salt and pepper.
  • Apart in a pot with boiling water and salt, cook the spaghettiuntil al dente.
  • Finally, in another pan, arrange the sauce and add the spaghetti, mix everything very well with finely chopped coriander, this will give it a very fresh flavor. If you wish, you can incorporate sautéed chicken pieces, or any type of meat you want.
