Spaghetti with Mushrooms Provencal Recipe

Do you want to eat pasta? This time we bring a vegan spaghetti dish that you will surely love. We have prepared spaghetti with mushrooms Provençal using fresh herbs and vegetables. Optionally, if your diet allows it, you can accompany this pasta recipe with a little grated cheese on top, Parmesan is perfect.

Ingredients to make Spaghetti with mushrooms Provençal:

  1. 230 grams of Spaghetti
  2. 100 grams of filleted mushrooms
  3. 2 tomatoes
  4. 2 garlic cloves
  5. 1 pinch of salt
  6. 1 pinch of ground black pepper
  7. 1 branch of fresh Basil
  8. 1 branch of fresh Thyme
  9. 1 branch of fresh oregano
  10. 1 splash of olive oil
  11. Optional
  12. 1 tablespoon grated cheese (Parmesan or vegan)

How to make Spaghetti with mushrooms Provençal:

  • We gather all the ingredients to prepare the spaghetti with mushrooms Provençal.
  • In a frying pan, brown the garlic with 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil. Cook over low heat for 3 minutes.
  • When the garlic has taken color, add the filleted mushrooms, raise the heat and let them cook over high heat for 4 minutes. Add a little salt and ground black pepper.
  • Peel the tomatoes, cut them into squares and add them to the sauce with mushrooms. We lower the heat to a medium temperature, add a little more salt and let them cook for 4 minutes. Stir to mix the flavors.
  • Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in plenty of boiling water with a little salt. Remember that if you prefer to use another type of pasta you can do so.
  • Tip: The cooking time will depend on the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Add the aromatic herbs to the mushroom and tomato sauce. We have used fresh basil, oregano and thyme. You can also use these dried herbs but remember that they have less aroma.
  • We cook for 3 more minutes, until the tomato is undone.
  • We serve the spaghetti with mushrooms Provençal with a little grated cheese on top, if we want, and a drizzle of olive oil.
