Spaghetti with Beans Recipe

There are many ways to cook good spaghetti with sauce but when we talk about black spaghetti we always think of seafood, well; with this recipe we show you a way to make exquisite vegan black spaghetti that will surprise you.

In Venezuela it is known as pasta de caritas and it is a dish of spaghetti with black beans that is simply delicious! This dish is normally served with long pasta or spaghetti, as in our case, and also, if you don’t follow a vegan diet, it can be accompanied with grated white cheese, buttermilk or cream cheese. Hmm!

Ingredients to make Spaghetti with beans:

  2. 1½ cups of black Beans with broth
  3. 250 grams of Spaghetti

  3. ½ cup of Black Beans without broth

  5. 1 splash of olive oil (optional)

How to make Spaghetti with beans:

  • First of all we will start by preparing the black beans. To do this, cook the beans, previously soaked, in boiling water until they are soft.
  • When they are ready, use half to make the black bean dip and reserve the other half. Separate the other part of the black beans like this: 1 1/2 cups of beans and broth; another 1/2 cup of just beans. Booking.
  • Once the first step is ready, place in your workspace all the ingredients and elements necessary to prepare the spaghetti with beans. Remember that we have the black beans, the dip, and the elements for decoration.
  • To make the pasta, pour enough water into a saucepan to cover the spaghetti, approximately 2 fingers above. Cook over medium heat and when the pasta is al dente, that is, neither too soft nor too hard, you can remove it from the heat.
  • Pass through a strainer and return the spaghetti to the saucepan. So, she pours the black beans with brother. Mix well, without mistreating the spaghetti and cook over medium-low heat.
  • After a few minutes, add the black bean dip and stir carefully. Wait until the ingredients are integrated, then remove from the heat.
