Spaghetti Recipe with Tomato Sauce

Ingredients to make Spaghetti with tomato sauce:

  1. 4 cups of Water (960 milliliters)
  2. 500 grams of Spaghetti
  3. 1 kilogram of ripe tomatoes
  4. ¾ milliliter of olive oil
  5. 1 unit of onion
  6. 2 units of baby carrots
  7. 2 celery stalks
  8. 1 branch of fresh Basil
  9. 1 pinch of salt
  10. 1 pinch of Pepper
  11. 1 package of grated Parmesan cheese

How to make Spaghetti with tomato sauce:

  • Blanch the tomatoes, peel them and cut the pulp into small pieces, removing the seeds.
  • In a casserole, fry the finely chopped onion, carrot and celery in the olive oil.
  • When the onion is golden, add the tomato.
  • Let cook over moderate heat for about ten minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper, the basil.
  • Cook for another two minutes and remove from heat. Cook the pasta al dente.
  • Drain and place on a serving platter.
  • Mix with the sauce and sprinkle with a little grated cheese on top.
  • Serve grated cheese on the table.
