Ingredients to make Spaghetti with tomato sauce:
- 4 cups of Water (960 milliliters)
- 500 grams of Spaghetti
- 1 kilogram of ripe tomatoes
- ¾ milliliter of olive oil
- 1 unit of onion
- 2 units of baby carrots
- 2 celery stalks
- 1 branch of fresh Basil
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of Pepper
- 1 package of grated Parmesan cheese
How to make Spaghetti with tomato sauce:
- Blanch the tomatoes, peel them and cut the pulp into small pieces, removing the seeds.
- In a casserole, fry the finely chopped onion, carrot and celery in the olive oil.
- When the onion is golden, add the tomato.
- Let cook over moderate heat for about ten minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper, the basil.
- Cook for another two minutes and remove from heat. Cook the pasta al dente.
- Drain and place on a serving platter.
- Mix with the sauce and sprinkle with a little grated cheese on top.
- Serve grated cheese on the table.
