Spaghetti Recipe with Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients to make Spaghetti with mushroom sauce:

  1. 500 grams of Spaghetti
  2. For the mushroom sauce
  3. 400 grams of mixed mushrooms
  4. 8 mushrooms
  5. ½ onion
  6. 200 milliliters of Cream of milk (1 cup)
  7. 1 pinch of salt
  8. 1 pinch of black pepper
  9. Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

How to make Spaghetti with mushroom sauce:

  • The first thing we must do is boil the spaghetti following the instructions on the package. Then, so that we can make the pasta al fungi recipe much faster, we finely chop the onion and wash all the mushrooms.
  • We take four mushrooms, cut them into pieces and add them to the blender glass along with the rest of the mixed mushrooms. Then, we beat until we completely crush the mushrooms. We can use canned or fresh mushrooms. In case of using fresh mushrooms, it is not necessary to cook them first; we can crush them directly, since we will cook the sauce later. In any case, if you want to lightly sauté the mushrooms before beating them, it is totally fine.
  • To make the mushroom sauce for pasta, we fry the onion in hot oil over medium heat. Meanwhile, we take the four remaining mushrooms and cut them into slices.
  • When the onion becomes transparent, add the sliced ​​mushrooms and sauté. This step is optional, since you can also make the spaghetti with mushroom sauce without sliced ​​mushrooms.
  • Once the mushrooms are cooked, add the crushed mushrooms and mix well. With the amounts used, a good amount of sauce will come out, so if you prefer the pasta al fungi to have less sauce, you should reduce the amounts or, at the end, set aside the excess sauce to prepare other recipes.
  • We integrate the crushed mushrooms with the onion and mushrooms for a maximum of five minutes and add the milk cream. Stir well and lower the temperature to allow the mushroom paste sauce to simmer.

  • By adding the milk cream, the mushroom sauce will soften and take on a lighter color, look at the photograph. If you prefer the intense and pure flavor of the mushrooms, skip the heavy cream, although you should keep in mind that the result will be a plate of spaghetti with a very thick mushroom sauce. Add the pastaand mix well.
