Spaghetti Recipe with Meat Sauce, Carrots and Zucchini

Ingredients to make Spaghetti with meat sauce, carrots and zucchini:

  1. 500 gr of pasta to taste, this time I put spaghetti
  2. two or three garlic cloves
  3. 1 onion
  4. 300 grams of minced meat
  5. 3 carrots
  6. 2 medium zucchini
  7. crushed tomato, fried tomato or ready-made tomato sauce
  8. grated cheese
  9. oil
  10. salt and pepper
  11. Andalusian pinchitos dressing (optional)

How to make Spaghetti with meat sauce, carrots and zucchini:

  • Cook the pasta as indicated on the package and leave it to the taste of the diners (al dente, done…).
  • Peel the carrots, garlic and onions and wash the zucchini (no need to peel them). Chop all the vegetables into squares, as well as the garlic and onions.
  • Heat the oil, sauté the garlic and add the onion. When the onion is tender, add the carrot and let it cook over low heat, between 10 and 15 minutes, depending on the size of the pieces and the quality of the carrots, but do not cook too much so that they do not remain” soft”.
  • Next we add the minced meat and sauté it well, season with salt and pepper, and if we want we can add the skewer seasoning. Finally we put the zucchini.
  • We turn it around and add the tomato. Here I have not put quantity because it depends on taste (well, everything else too…) and also the type of tomato. If we have homemade tomato sauce, even better, if we want it more “natural” the crushed tomato, but usually where there are children they prefer fried tomato.
  • Depending on the tomato that we use, we let it cook for between 10 and 20 minutes, but we keep trying until we consider that it is there, that is to say: that we like it. The vegetables should be noticeable in the mouth, not fall apart, but not hard either.
  • Mix with the pasta and each one ad the grated cheese to taste.
