  2. 50 grams of butter
  3. 10 milliliters of olive oil
  4. 150 grams of chopped Bacon or Bacon
  5. 1 pinch of Salt and Pepper
  6. 350 milliliters of Cream for cooking or Cream of milk
  7. 100 grams of Parmesan cheese
  8. 500 grams of Spaghetti

How to make Spaghetti carbonara with Thermo mix:

  • First we will start preparing the carbonara sauce with cream. To do this, place the onion in the glass along with the butter, oil and bacon, season with salt and pepper and program for 15 seconds with speed 4 to blend everything.
  • Be careful with the salt because the bacon already adds something to the preparation; try not to overdo it with this ingredient so as not to damage the sauce.
  • When the machine stops, remove the remains that have remained on the walls of the glass and program again, but this time in aroma mode with a left turn, at speed 2 for 7 minutes.
  • To finish preparing our pasta sauce with Thermo mix, add the cream with half the cheese in the glass. Mix these ingredients for 2 seconds at speed 3.
  • Then, cook the carbonara sauce programming for 8 minutes with a temperature of 90ºC, turn to the left and speed 1. While this is finished cooking you can make the pasta in the traditional way, with boiling water and a pinch of salt until it is dente.
  • Trick: The carbonara sauce normally has pieces but if you want it more homogeneous you can blend it for a few seconds at speed 7 before cooking it.
  • When you have everything ready, the pasta and the sauce, serve each of the dishes bathing with the sauce and covering with a pinch of Parmesan cheese from the half that we have reserved. You can decorate the spaghetti carbonara with Thermo mix with toasted bacon or a little parsley to give the dish color. Bon Appetite!
